I have WIKISpace

I have set myself up some WIKI space - gavinandrewstewart » home . I am not entirely sure how it works or whether it is the best WIKI for what I want to do but I have decided that the best  way to find out is to engage with the tools and to make the decision after a bit of experimentation. It is my hope to use it in my Creative Writing work and also my poetry-in-schools as it is a great tool for collaboration and for making short texts and links without too much effort.

Adobe launches Flex 2 with Ajax and Flash

I just picked up on this piece of news from TechCrunch - TechCrunch » Blog Archive » Adobe Launches Flex 2 . I imagine this means that we are going to experience even more video and motion in our web browsing experience in the near future. I wonder what this will do to the blogosphere. At present most bloggers have kept themselves to print content with the odd image (with podcats and video casts making up the rich content). Can you imagine a news feed interface that is modelled on thought balloons or new imagines from your friends that waff across the desk top on the back of an animated truck. Could be fun or it could be awful!
